☀️🐾 Bella’s Monday Blog – The Great Picture Day Production 🐾☀️

Good Morning Friends,

Well… today was apparently the MET GALA of daycare because Baby Neil had his official Picture Day this morning and let me tell you. This child was dressed to the NINES. I mean honestly… I’ve never seen this much effort before 7:00 AM in my entire dog life.

At exactly 6:00 AM the entire Shegihans household was in FULL production mode.

Momma was running around yelling:
“WHERE IS THE BOW TIE?!”
“DON’T LET HIM GET DIRTY!”
“WHO GAVE HIM A TREAT ALREADY?!”

Meanwhile Neil stood there looking like a tiny CEO heading into a corporate board meeting.

✔️

👖 Fancy pants?
✔️

🎀 Bow tie?
DOUBLE ✔️

Honestly he looked like he was about to close on a mortgage or host the evening news.

Now here’s where things got dramatic…

Momma had to drive separately because she ABSOLUTELY needed to attend the daycare paparazzi event personally for the photos before racing off to work. Apparently this was a “very important family moment.”

Pappy, however, got to stay.

And let me tell you…
Pappy treated this whole thing like Neil had just graduated Harvard.

“There he goes!”
“Look at him!”
“That’s my boy!”

Sir…
He is going to daycare.

The celebration afterwards was NEXT LEVEL. Snacks were flowing for both humans and pups. Spirits were high. Morale was excellent.

Dory would like everyone to know:
“I personally supervised the snack distribution and feel my contributions were underappreciated.”

Luci spent most of the morning judging everyone from the couch.
“Honestly… if they put half this effort into my photoshoot I’d probably have a sponsorship by now.”

And me, Bella?
I was simply trying to process why nobody dressed ME in a bow tie.

Frankly I would’ve crushed Picture Day.

Also… rumor has it Momma grabbed herself a tea on the way out because after coordinating this early morning family operation she deserved SOMETHING. Honestly she looked one minor inconvenience away from needing a full vacation by 7:15 AM.

But despite the chaos…
it was one of those beautiful family mornings filled with laughter, excitement, snacks, and way too much emotional investment over daycare pictures.
