Hi friends,
It’s me Bella! And before you say it yes, I know. I’ve been missing in action on the blog. But let me explain before you start wagging your finger (or tail) at me.
You see, last week I accidentally got stuck in what Mama calls “The Laundry Vortex.” Don’t ask how. One minute I was sniffing a suspicious sock, the next minute I was buried under a mountain of towels, and by the time I dug myself out, three days had gone by. THREE. DAYS. Nobody noticed either, because apparently in this house socks have more rights than I do. 🙄
Anyway, I’m back and boy do I have updates.
🐶 Neil’s Big Day
Neil decided to have what he called a “Day of Self-Care.” Honestly, it looked more like a toddler spa takeover. He went for a haircut and strutted in afterward like he was auditioning for a shampoo commercial. He even made us all sit down for his “grand hair reveal.” Spoiler: it looked exactly the same, except fluffier. But hey, if it makes him happy, we clap. Round of a-paws for Neil.
🐾 Pearl Pops In
Pearl stopped by for a visit, and as usual she arrived like a little whirlwind. She brought enough energy to power the entire neighborhood. Within five minutes she had stolen my spot on the couch, hidden Mama’s slippers, and convinced Neil that the vacuum makes a great racecar engine sound. (It does not. Mama was not amused.)
But she gave me ear kisses before she left, so… I’ll forgive her.
🐕 Dory & Luci’s Fun Adventure
Now, Dory and Luci those two have been sneaky. They decided that the backyard squirrels needed “entertainment.” Which, in dog terms, means they choreographed what I can only describe as a full-scale squirrel chase ballet. Luci was the “graceful leaper,” and Dory provided the “dramatic soundtrack” by barking in three different octaves.
The squirrels? They gave them a standing ovation from the fence before scampering off. I’m telling you, those two are going to need their own Netflix special soon.
So, that’s why I haven’t been posting. Between laundry mountains, Neil’s hair flips, Pearl’s tornado energy, and the squirrel ballet well, let’s just say my paws have been FULL.
But don’t worry, friends Bella’s back on the keyboard. Stay tuned for more adventures, more chaos, and maybe fewer socks.
