🌙 Part 1: Last Night “Operation Sofa Patrol (+ VIP Arrival)”
Dear Diary,
Last night I assumed my official duties as Head of Household Security & Snack Inspection. I did three laps around the living room (speed: turbo; ears: aerodynamic) and confirmed the only suspicious activity was Neilbaby negotiating a later bedtime with a squeaky-toy attorney. Objection overruled. 🧸
Mid-patrol, the door opened and ta-da! Pearl has arrived for the weekend! She rolled in like royalty with an overnight bag, a second bag just for accessories, and a “where’s my welcome snack?” look. Auntie Alisa delivered the royal wave; Uncle Steven acted like snack security… which is adorable because we all know where the biscuits actually end up. 👀🍪
I completed a Quality Control Check on Momma’s warm laundry pile (10/10 fluff) while Pearl inspected the couch and declared it “acceptable for a diva.” Dory provided moral support via dramatic sigh, and Luci filed a noise complaint against the refrigerator for “humming aggressively.”

🌞 Part 2: This Morning “Friday, Let’s Ride (Pearl Edition)”
Good morning, friends! The day began with Medication Roll Call. I tried the classic “Who, me?” to dodge my insulin, but Momma is immune to loopholes. 💉✨ Ear rubs acquired anyway.
Status update: Pearl woke up ready to host a talk show. She announced today’s themes: sparkle, snacks, and strategic naps. Neilbaby performed his “I’m starving” monologue while actively chewing breakfast. Dory declared entry into a nap marathon, and Luci volunteered as official doorbell for leaves. Outside smells like weekend possibilities and a faint rumor of bacon. I’m listening. 👂
Today’s Agenda (Now with Pearl):
Patrol window (co-captains: Bella & Pearl).
Supervise humans with synchronized head tilts.
Collect compliments. (Pearl will lead.)
Strategic snack diplomacy.
Repeat until treat o’clock.
