Good morning, pack! 🌞 I hope you all had a paw-some long weekend. Ours? Well… let’s just say Momma should start collecting frequent flyer miles at the vet urgent care. Three trips later, we’re all still wagging (and limping) along.
Wilson Watch 🐶
Our tough guy Wilson is hanging in there. The doctor nearly cried when she saw his name on Saturday’s schedule, she thought he wouldn’t be around anymore. Joke’s on her! He’s still here, still being a stinker with his meds. We’ve got standing Saturday appointments for the next 10 weeks, so we’ll see her plenty. Lucky her.
Drama Dory 🎭
Then there’s Dory… She had the itchies so bad from her allergies that Momma had to bring her in for injections. One of them hit a muscle, and she was limping like she deserved an Oscar. Back to the vet we go but the second she walked in, she perked right up like, “Hi everyone, I’m baaaack!” Total drama queen. Thankfully, they gave her another injection for the inflammation, and today she’s acting like nothing ever happened.
Nurse Momma 👩⚕️
Between meds, injections, and vet runs, Momma declared she should’ve been a nurse. Honestly, she’s not wrong. Every morning feels like roll call at doggy hospital “Line up for your meds, kiddos!”
Luci the Commentator 🐾
Of course, Luci had to chime in. Sitting pretty on the sidelines, she gave Wilson and Dory the side-eye like, “You two are really milking this for extra treats, aren’t you?” She’s not wrong. If there’s one thing Luci knows, it’s how to work the system for extra snacks.
Pearl the Neighbor Watch 🌟
And let’s not forget Pearl. From her perch next door, she peeked over the fence like, “Y’all sure know how to keep Momma busy! Maybe I should schedule myself a check-up too, just for the belly rubs.” Always looking for her moment to shine, that Pearl!
So here we are, tails wagging, bellies full, and ready to take on September. 🍂🐾
