The Daycare Dash: Neilbaby 1, Pappy 0 🐾🚌

Happy Friday, friends! Today’s episode of chaos stars none other than our brother, Neilbaby the doggie, in his most dramatic role yet—Daycare Dash Champion. The challenger? Pappy. The battleground? Our living room, front porch, and one very impatient honking bus.

Pappy’s mission sounded simple enough: brush Neilbaby, get on the harness, and send him off on time. But Neilbaby had other plans…

First came the harness. Neilbaby flopped to the floor like a floppy pancake, rolled on his back, and slid under the coffee table just to prove his point. By the time Pappy clipped one side, Neilbaby had already wiggled free like a furry escape artist.

Then came brushing. Pappy brushed the front—Neilbaby shook fluff everywhere. Pappy brushed the back—Neilbaby spun in circles like a tiny tornado. At one point, the brush went flying out the door, and Neilbaby chased it down like it was the prize of the century.

Finally, the bus gave its honk honk. Neilbaby barked back as if shouting, “I’m on my way, don’t leave without me!” Pappy scrambled, grabbed the leash, and somehow wrangled our wild brother just in time. Neilbaby strutted onto that bus with his tail wagging, ears bouncing, and a grin so big you’d think he had planned it all along.

And Pappy? Well, let’s just say he was left on the porch with a shirt full of fur, looking like he’d been in the ring with a fluffy alligator. Meanwhile Neilbaby poked his head out the window, big smile, paw waving goodbye like the undefeated champ he is.

Final score?
Neilbaby 1, Pappy 0.

Signed with a wag and a wink,
Bella 💕
(Better him than me—catching Neilbaby is a full-time job!)
