Well, friends, after Pappy’s wild morning showdown (Neilbaby 1, Pappy 0 🚌), the bus carried our fluffy brother off to a full day of fun at daycare. And oh boy, did he make the most of it!

Daycare Besties

The moment Neilbaby hopped off the bus, he was met by his two very best daycare pals: Victoria, the wise and regal 4-year-old Sheepadoodle, and Veronica, the bouncy little 4-month-old Cockapoo.

Victoria is the queen bee of the group—always calm, always collected, and somehow managing to keep her curls perfect no matter what. Neilbaby happily follows her lead, trying his best to look like a gentleman when she’s around.

Veronica, on the other paw, is pure puppy energy. She zooms in circles, pounces at Neilbaby’s tail, and copies everything he does. To her, Neilbaby is the big brother superhero who knows all the best games. Together, the trio turned the play yard into their own racetrack—Victoria leading with grace, Neilbaby barreling behind with goofy determination, and little Veronica zipping past them both like a rocket.

By the end of the day, Neilbaby’s smile was so wide the staff said it looked like he’d won the lottery. Treats, belly rubs, and endless playtime with his besties—what more could a dog ask for?

Afternoon Excitement

At 11:00 a.m. sharp, the bus rolled back up and dropped Neilbaby at home, still grinning from ear to ear. He trotted inside, hopped on the couch, and collapsed in a heap. After a quick two-hour nap, the real fun began all over again.

Refreshed and recharged, Neilbaby launched into round two of the “Neilbaby Show.” With a squeaky toy in his mouth, he zoomed around the living room, leaping on and off the couch like a furry rocket. Bella and the rest of us could only watch in amazement while Pappy sighed, “Here we go again…”

Because with Neilbaby, one thing’s for sure: the fun doesn’t stop when the bus does. 🐶💨
